We are delighted to be able to invite you to participate in a new and very exciting initiative. We have been looking for a while at ways to involve parents more in the life of the school and some decision-making. To this end, we are planning to start a Parents Forum which will play a key role in evaluating current school procedures and proposed new initiatives.
The Parent Forum will be a partnership between parents/carers and the school. It will be a valuable way to share ideas, views and concerns and make suggestions for improvement.
Membership is open to any parent or carer of a child currently in the school, with all year groups hopefully being represented. Our idea is to have one parent or carer on the forum per class (14 in total). Meetings will be held in school during school hours every half-term (6 times each year) and will last roughly 1 hour.
